Introduction
Frankston High School is a dual campus, Years 7-12 coeducational school serving the community of South Frankston.
Established in 1924, the school has a long established tradition of academic excellence.
Frankston High School has a strong discipline and welfare structure, which is supportive of students and staff.
An extensive range of subjects is offered with students in Years 11 and 12 studying in the separate senior campus.
The school has a reputation for excellence in sport, music and computer technology and extends a warm welcome to international students.
2001 VCE Results and Year 12 Student University / TAFE Placements
- 100 per cent of Year 12 students successfully completed their VCE -34 students (17 per cent) achieved a score above 90, and 71 students (35 per cent) achieved a score above 80
- 93 per cent of students applying for tertiary placements have received offers from Victorian universities and TAFE institutes - 65 per cent have gained university places and 34 per cent have gained TAFE places
